Since its establishment, the Cesenatico Municipality owns Gesturist Cesenatico Spa.

In 2002 the company’s asset has been converted in shares and offered to the Cesenatico citizens and to the town trade associations.

In effect the Municipality has handed over 20% of its asset to privates through a takeover bid, while it holds actually the control of the company with more than 70% of the shares.

Shareholders are in total 147, including trade associations, banks, employees, private companies and private citizens as per the following figures.
